Find a Fort Lauderdale RSD/CRPS Lawyer:

If you or a loved one needs to find a RSD/CRPS lawyer in Fort Lauderdale, we are able to assist you. You’ll find we have a high level of expertise in this area, surpassed by no other. RSD/CRPS cases can be very daunting and tricky. Our lawyers are prepared to defend your cause and ensure you are treated fairly. We provide experts in the field of RSD/CRPS to help explain to the court the longevity of this disease and all of its potential treatment or therapy needs.

RSD is sometimes called Type I CRPS, which is triggered by tissue injury where there is no underlying nerve injury, while Type II CRPS refers to cases where a high-velocity impact (such as a bullet wound) occurred at the site and is clearly associated with nerve injury. Type II used to be called "causalgia" and was first documented over 100 years ago by doctors concerned about the pain that Civil War veterans suffered even after their wounds had healed. RSD is unique in that it affects the nerves, skin, muscles, blood vessels and bones at the same time.

What is RSD/CRPS? The best way to describe RSD or CRPS is when there is an injury and it does not heal as it normally would. A large or dramatic injury is not required for this to take place. After the injury the nervous system simply does not function as it normally would. Unfortunately, there are no laboratory tests that can be performed to determine the presence of RSD/CRPS and at this time there is no cure. There are treatments available and our lawyers will ensure you get funds you need to pursue those treatments.
