Alan
Neufeld graduated with honors in finance from Syracuse
University, and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate
Degree from the University of Miami in 1975. During
his tenure as a law student, he clerked for both
civil Circuit Court judges and prominent criminal
judges, developing a deep passion for trial
advocacy. For the past 28 years, Alan has vigorously
represented seriously-injured clients in both
Federal District Court and State Circuit Courts
litigating cases involving complex Medical
Malpractice, Nursing Home abuse, Products Liability,
airplane, railroad and motor vehicle crashes, slip
and fall injuries, improper security, and bad-faith
litigation against insurance companies, as well as a
multitude of other causes of action. He has
successfully obtained several million-dollar jury
verdicts and settlements in the area of Tort
Litigation.
A family man and true believer in
community involvement, Alan is on the Board of
Governors for the North Dade Bar Association, is
currently the President of the Citizens Advisory
Committee for the Metro 6 Intracoastal Police
Department, and is a member of the North Miami Beach
Optimist Club, where he volunteers his time
organizing the Annual Special Olympics. In addition,
he runs a Moot Court demonstration for local high
school students who are contemplating entering the
legal profession.
Alan was the lead counsel in
Riles vs. Bonaventure Golf Course, et al., a case
which resulted in the highest jury verdict ever
recorded in the United States against a golf course,
for suits involving improper design. A truly caring
and passionate person, Alan’s magnetic personality
coupled with his vast knowledge of the law has won
the hearts of jurors time and time again.
